Colombia Asobombo

With rich notes of dark cherry and milk chocolate, this light roast drinks much more like a medium profile single origin making it quite approachable for those who tend to shy away from the acidity of light roasts. It brews up great as a pour over and in a drip brewer. Trust that this coffee will make a great option as a daily drinker or as that something special you might brew a cup of in the afternoon and stands up to creamer much more than your typical light roast would. 

But there is more to this coffee that made us choose it for our lineup.

This Select Series roast comes from the Grupo Asociativo El Bombo Pitalito Inza, or Asobombo, and the lot was produced by 85 female members of who live and farm in Huila. Asobombo’s Women’s Group is focused on strengthening gender equity and creating more opportunities for women and their families to learn about balanced diets, resource allocation and coffee quality improvement. This coffee was grown using organic practices by certified organic producers at origin.
